Among seven technological factors, the spawn and straw are two critical inputs deciding the success of the mushroom entrepreneurship. The project preparation is important for button mushrooms as we have to go for financing from an organization because of heavy investment on the infrastructure. Training is considered essential for mushroom cultivation because of its non-traditional method of cultivation using pasteurized compost and the environment controlled indoor rooms or thatched huts as per the weather conditions.
